How to get to Glenholme:

you can reach this lovely spot on the the island by various means of transport...

By Train:

It is easy & fast, 25 minutes from/to Waterloo Station, up to 15 trains per hour!
Leave the train station on the south side, where you find the bus stop to Heathrow (not in direction of town centre)
10 minutes walk from Woking station southwards (downhill) to Glenholme: Follow Station Approach, pass the Police Station and then follow Guildford Road (A320) until you reach Turnoak roundabout; turn left into Wych Hill Lane, where you find Glenholme after 50 m; because there is no pavement on some parts of the north side of the road, better keep on the south side (i.e. cross Wych Hill Lane at Turnoak roundabout) and cross right in front of

Of course you can also come by car...

1) From Heathrow/North M25:
(1.1) leave M25 at junction J11 (Chertsey), follow signs to A320, then go south to Ottershaw
(1.2) stay on A320 in direction of Guildford, pass through the centre of Woking (Victoria Railway bridge =- traffic jam); about 1 km south of Victoria Bridge you will find Turnoak roundabout – here turn left (east) into Wych Hill Lane (A247 leading to Old Woking)
(1.3) you will find Glenholme in the middle between the Turnoak roundabout and Elm Bridge on the north side; another 100 m east (into Kingfield Road) you can turn north into Woking Park, where is plenty of parking space in front of the Leisure Centre
in Woking you will see brown road signs to the Leisure Centre - if you follow these coming from the North, you will pass Glenholme!
(2) From Virginia Waters/Chertsey/Staines:
(2.1) follow signs to A320, go south to Ottershaw
(2.2) continue at (1.2-1.3) above
(3) From Dover/South M25:
(3.1) leave M25 at junction J10 (Guildford), then go west on A30 to Ripley exit; pass through Ripley (High Street, Portsmouth Road) until you get to big roundabout close to a Shell petrol station
(3.2) on this roundabout turn right onto A247 in direction to Send; stay on A247 which brings you to Old Woking (first roundabout left into High Street, second roundabout right into Kingfield Road); always stay on A247, Kingfield Road will lead into Wych Hill Lane; see (1.3)
